Golden Corral is now open!
Plates from three different diners at the Golden Corral opening night.
The lettuce varieties looked gorgeous.
Best I've seen in Springfield. (see top photo)
I'd like to see more salad dressing options.
Perhaps a honey mustard, honey lime and a smoky tomato ranch.
Would also like to see chickpeas available.
Some sort of entree featuring tofu would be nice too.
I'm surprised they don't have a "build your own horseshoe" area.
I like that they have steak and chicken on the salad bar.Of course, I'd love to see some falafal, hummus and tofu there too someday.

Hours are from 10:45 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday,
10:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday,
7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday
and 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

A party room holds 60, but reservations won’t be taken until after Jan. 1.
Total seating is 428.
There’s a breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
An early-bird special for people 60 and older is from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (buffet with drink for $6.49).
