Chipotles (new burrito place outside White Oaks Mall)

Chipotle Mexican Grill

(new burrito place outside White Oaks Mall)

Photos taken on free burrito day and on the following Sunday.

Here's my burrito being made.
I couldn't decide which salsa, so it was made with all of them.

Here's one of the burritos.
Cell phone was included in the photo to give you an idea of how big these things are.

Above: a carnitas pork burrito with all the salsas.

A burrito bowl

3 tacos - one chicken, one steak, one pork
Made with all four salsas
with beans and rice added.
Yummy!

Remember, you can click on a photo for a larger view.

One handy bit of info is that you can order just one taco if you wish.
They're around $2 or so each. I don't have the exact price.
It's not listed on the menu, but the option is there.
So if your friends want to eat at Chipotles and you're low on cash, there is a solution...

I love their slogan on the receipts.
(See above)

---------

One thing I'd like to see Chipotles improve is their non-alcoholic
beverage selection. If you avoid caffeine, artificial sweeteners and
high fructose corn syrup, you're pretty much left with water.

An option for a fresh fruit smoothie or some kefir would be nice.
With spicy food, a smoothie, kefir or even some milk would be appreciated.

On free burrito day the Noodles & Co / Chipotles parking lot was very full.
If you get caught on the Noodles and Co side on a busy day you may need to back out of the parking lot. They really could use an extra exit driveway there.

  1. Just wanted to make a quick reply to your comment that as far as our beverage selection goes, "if you avoid caffeine, artificial sweeteners and
high fructose corn syrup, you're pretty much left with water."

This really isn't the case. We have a selection of 100% natural fruit juices from Nantucket Nectars, as well as 3 varieties of IZZE, which is a beverage consisting of just fruit juice and sparkling water.

We stock the Nantucket Nectars in Pineapple Orange Banana, Peach Orange, Pressed Apple, and Pomegranite Cherry. The IZZEs we carry are Blackberry, Clementine, and Grapefruit.

None of these selections have any high fructuse corn syrup (or any added sugar or sweeteners of any kind), nor do they contain caffeine. In fact, they are 100% natural, just like everything else on our menu.

Also -- haven't seen you in the restaurant for awhile! Do you know about the mychipotle.com contest? You MUST make a video and enter -- I think you could win!
