BTW, the Park District will take donations for the park.

For instance, if you want to donate a water fountain, or tree, or
whatever...give them a call. I like the idea of a doggie water
fountain, like what they have at Washington Park.

I'm also hoping that someone will donate that swimming pool facility.

A new south-side park already targeted as the future home for the Springfield Children's Museum is being eyed as the possible site of a second YMCA facility with as many as three indoor swimming pools.
