East Lake Drive bicycle and walking path

It looks like we're getting a bicycle and walking path along East Lake Drive along Lake Springfield.
This will make bicycling much safer around the lake.
My thanks to whoever is working on this project.

Photos are from May 26, 2007 except for this one (above) which was taken on June 14, 2007.
The grand opening for this project was on June 21, 2007 and was featured in the SJR and on WICS TV 20 news.

I'm thinking of celebrating by buying new bike tires.
What do you think of these Goodyear Aquatreads for the bicycle?
Oh, wait, they're Aquatrac tires.
They're still kewl. I like them!

The guys at the car tire dealership loved the pics of a whitewalls for a bicycle.
