Future home of the Holy Land Diner ?

Could this be the future home of the Holy Land Diner?

Please post in the COMMENTS section at the bottom of the page or on the email list if you hear of this fine restaurant's grand re-opening.

Thanks!

I really miss their hummus, falafels, etc.

Holy Land Diner open at new site

Published Sunday, July 22, 2007

After months of waiting, loyal customers of HOLY LAND DINER once again can fill up on falafel and hummus at the Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant.
It opened Tuesday in its new location in Vinegar Hill Mall, 107 W. Cook St. 544-5786

If you're in the Chicago area and seeking similar food, try the
Pita Inn restaurants or the Jerusalem Cafe.

Photos of the old Holy Land Diner and neighbors.

While at the Old Capitol Art Fair, I took a picture of the restaurant that replaced the Holy Land Diner at the Old Capitol Mall. (see above)
