Photos and videos of the Maisenbacher house move down 7th Street

Yes, it did start to snow while I was there.
My flash unit conked out, so I used the built in flash on the camera for the above photo.
Then I switched to the little digital camera for the videos.
My thanks to the people providing light for my videos by shining their headlights on the house.
I'm rather surprised that the tv crew for the HGTV series "Haulin' House" wasn't there.
Taking pictures was like watching that show live in person.

Preparations are under way to move the Lincoln-era Maisenbacher House five blocks north to its new home on Sunday.
The 19th-century building will be taken from its current location at 1028 S. Seventh St. to 503 S. Seventh St., where an old structure deemed not worthy of saving, the Lewis House, was demolished last week to make way.
On Tuesday, crews started putting 64 wheels — some motorized, some not — under the 300-ton Maisenbacher House.
