When the Rain comes down..downtown

Jefferson Street at Isringhausen's
after the rainstorm on June 23, 2007.

If you click on a photo for a larger view you'll note folks on either side of
Isringhausen's staring at the situation on Jefferson.

The train tracks were flooded at the local Amtrak station.

A lovely breeze traveled thru this rare open window during the storm
at the a/c free Lincoln Library.

Note the Old State Capitol and its reflection in the photo.

It might be an idea for the people who live/work near streets that flood to get the streets blocked off and then have some fun with a remote controlled toy boat...or just have a shark swim about. :)
These water toys were found at Atlantis Pools.

Yes, that is a John Schneider album. Amazon.com doesn't even carry this one!
Be sure to browse thru the record albums. It is a great blast from the past.
I rather miss the large album cover art from the LPs of the past.
CD covers just aren't the same.
Hey, if you need a Barry Manilow or Billy Joel album, the library sale is the place to shop!
